Say Hello to our NEW Toolkit: Harm Reduction Saves Lives!

This toolkit was developed in response to the direct needs of communities in Wisconsin. Rural communities have been, and continue to be, affected by the opioid epidemic. Evidence shows that harm reduction strategies can have an impact on reducing the number of lives lost to overdose. Harm Reduction Saves Lives aims to educate the general public on what harm reduction is and what resources are available in their community.

Marshfield Clinic Health System (MCHS) is investing in communities to address harm reduction needs. MCHS recognizes the need to invest in substance use resources in our communities. Substance Use Disorders and overdose deaths continue to increase, creating a need to support strategies across the continuum of care. Communities may apply to purchase and place a NaloxBox and/or host a sharp-disposal event.

MCHS has limited funds to support the implementation of a NaloxBox and/or sharps-disposal event by December 31, 2024.
