PFS15 Counties

The SAMHSA Partnerships for Success (PFS) is a federally funded grant provided to address prescription drug misuse among persons aged 12 to 25. The grant was awarded to the state of Wisconsin- Department of Health Services to provide 14 high needs counties with resources needed to address this substance abuse prevention priority. Eight of the fourteen counties are located in Northwoods Coalition service area: Ashland, Douglas, Eau Claire, Florence, Forest, Menominee, Oneida, and Vilas. Coalitions in each county will work with Marshfield Clinic, Northwoods Coalition, and Alliance for Wisconsin Youth to complete strategies such as: implement a community education and/or media campaign, support prescription drug security, collection and disposal, and work with and provide resources to support law enforcement Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) training and enforcement.
